APPLICATION INFORMATION

PURPOSE

The Gen Giammanco Foundation provides financial support to student athletes to assist in their pursuit of both scholastic and athletic success at the collegiate level.

CRITERIA

The student athletes that are eligible for assistance must be high school students who reside in Monterey County, or students who attend high schools in the following cities: Morgan Hill, San Diego, Santa Clarita, Santa Cruz, and Ventura. Eligible students must continue their education and athletic career at a junior college, college or university. Funding of a Gen Giammanco Foundation (GGF) Award is contingent on the student athlete becoming a member of an NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA or CCCAA collegiate athletic team. Consideration will also be given to the applicant’s leadership, sportsmanship, community service, academic record and financial need. Some GGF Awards will be renewed upon application, provided the student athlete continues to meet the above stated criteria. Application and renewal forms are available on the Gen Giammanco Foundation website, www.gengiammancofoundation.org. 

DEADLINE

The application deadline is March 31, 2020. The deadline is the date after which

applications will no longer be accepted. The Gen Giammanco Foundation uses the date emails are sent to agaimmanco03@gmail.com and the postmarked date on mailed entries to determine date of submission.

GUIDELINES

GGF Awards will be distributed on an annual basis.

AMOUNT

Each GGF Award will be a minimum of $500.00. Original GGF Award amounts are not guaranteed upon renewal.
